Database for ontologies

In order to store our data, we are looking for the best solution between relational and graph databases. Are there any tools provided by the platform? Right now, the actual test data of the project are instantiated via the triple store as a data property based on the defined terminology (T-Box). Meaning the data is instantiated via SPARQL.
Are there any recommendations for data storage?

Thank you for this question! Perhaps @henkbirkholz and @jannis.grundmann @thomas.hanke @benthe.grun might want to comment on this? A great advantage of relational databases is that they are fast while graph databases tend to be slow. It would be interesting to learn if there exists a good compromise. A clear recommendation from PMD side is not available yet as far as I know but I would prefer to get some comments from our IT experts.

One database that can process both relational data in tables as well as linked data in triples is Virtuoso.

The PMD tool Ontodocker can only store linked data. Currently it supports Jena and Blazegraph. Other triplestores could be discussed if there is sufficient demand from the community.
